- You mark the watermark with a brush. That painted area becomes a mask, and a secure cloud AI service reconstructs the texture, lighting and edges that belong underneath it. Only the marked region is replaced — everything you did not brush is copied straight from your original file.
- Can I remove any watermark I find online?
- No. Watermarks usually mark ownership, and removing one from someone else's photo can breach copyright or a licence agreement. Use this tool only on images you own or have written permission to edit, which is why the confirmation checkbox is required.
- Does it work on text, logos and date stamps?
- Yes. Semi-transparent text overlays, corner logos, camera date stamps and small stock-photo marks are all handled the same way — brush over them and the background behind is rebuilt.
- Why do large watermarks give weaker results?
- A watermark stretched across a whole photo hides a lot of real detail. The model has to invent more of the scene, so faces, readable text and repeating patterns under a wide mark can come back imperfect. Tight selections over small marks give the cleanest results.
- Is my image stored?
- No. Your image is sent for processing only when you press Remove Watermark, and it is not kept permanently on BGZaply. The finished PNG is returned straight to your browser for download.
- How many free watermark removals do I get?
- Two successful removals per visitor every 24 hours. Only completed edits count toward the limit, so a failed attempt does not use one up.
- Does this tool run on my phone?
