What BGZaply does

BGZaply is a small set of free browser tools for everyday image work: removing a background, removing an unwanted object, clearing a watermark from an image you own, and generating a logo concept. There is no account, no email collection and no watermark on the output. The site is written for an international English-speaking audience and works the same wherever you are.

Why the tools are free

The background remover runs on your own hardware, so it costs us nothing per image and we can leave it open and unlimited. The tools that depend on cloud processing do cost money to run, which is why those have a small daily allowance per visitor rather than an account or a paywall.

Which processing happens in your browser

The background remover and the transparent background maker — the same tool on two pages — run entirely inside your browser. Your image is read locally, processed locally and saved locally. It is never uploaded to BGZaply and nothing is stored.

Which tools use secure cloud processing

The object remover, the watermark remover and the AI logo generator send your image or your brief to a third-party processing service when you press the action button, and the result is returned to your browser. Those images are not kept permanently by BGZaply. Each of those pages says so on the page itself, and our privacy policy has the detail.

Limitations we want to be honest about

• Automatic background removal is a judgement, not a measurement. Thin fences, wire, sheer fabric, glass, reflections and overlapping people are frequently misread.
• Object and watermark removal rebuild what was hidden. The result is a plausible reconstruction, not the true scene that was behind the object.
• Because the background remover runs locally, speed depends on your device and browser.
• Generated logos are starting points. Check availability and trademarks before you use one commercially.
• We publish no accuracy percentages or benchmark scores, because we have not run formal, documented tests.

Reporting an error

If a guide is out of date, a competitor detail is wrong or a tool misbehaves on a particular image, tell us through the contact page. Include the page URL, what you expected and what happened, plus your browser and device if it is a tool problem. Corrections to published guides are made on the page and the update date is changed.
